100% FRESH FRUIT, FREEZE-DRIED TO PERFECTION.

We use hand-selected premium varieties of fruit in Mixologist’s Garden. They’re chosen for their superior quality and ability to maintain flavour and aroma during the freeze-drying process.

Produce is primarily sourced from Europe. We procure from the largest citrus suppliers in Spain and our berries are mainly sourced from continental Europe.

WE SOURCE THE BEST FRUIT IN THE MARKET

AS LOCAL AS POSSIBLE

Our suppliers follow strict controls for growing and harvesting and are certified by the Global GAP for agriculture. Our factory is certified by the BRCGS and recognised as GRADE A by Global Food Safety Initiative which insist on strict controls on factory operations.

We’re mindful of the environmental impact of transportation distances. Our strawberries, for example, are grown within a mile of our European freeze-drying facility.

MINIMAL TRANSPORTATION

Sustainability Matters

AMBIENT FRUIT - LESS WASTE
Mixologist’s Garden comes ready to serve in resealable packs and is transported and stored ambiently. They have a long product life which results in zero waste.

90% LIGHTER
Our product is 90% lighter than fresh fruit, saving huge volumes of weight from being transported across the globe and therefore reducing fuel costs.

SOURCED IN SEASON

Naturally sun-ripened and lovingly hand picked, our fruit doesn’t require additional resources for growing.

REDUCED CARBON EMMISIONS
A lighter product means we significantly contribute to the reduction of carbon emissions into the environment during transportation.

The Freeze-Drying Process

Our fruit is initially quick frozen and kept at -40’C to capture shape and quality. Moisture is then removed in an atmosphere-controlled vacuum at low temperatures, a process known as sublimation.
